The tribute concert to the is produced in collaboration by two of the most popular festivals in our area String Quartet and to the popular suggestions of which ‘cultured’ music is rich which will see theLorenzo Perosi Ensemble (Marcello Bianchi and Rita Mascagna, violins – Maurizio Redegoso Kharitian, viola – Claudio Merlo, cello) interpreter of pages by A. Borodin, A. Dvořák, M. de Falla and B. Smetana in the context of XV Festival International ‘Baroque Alexandria’ and of theVIII Gamondium Music Festival. Entrance is free, without the need for reservations.
The appointments
The first will be Saturday 29 June at 9pm in Borghetto di Borberaat the Church of San Vittore, in collaboration with AQ APS meeting place. THEthe second will be a Castellazzo Bormida, Sunday 30 June at 6pmat the Church of the SS. Trinity from Lungiin collaboration with the Municipality.
At the end of the Castellazzo concert there will be offering the public a tasting of excellent local products provided by Giraudi Cioccolato all’Infinito, La Bottega Del Pane, Panetteria Ferraris, Salumificio Cereda, Vineria Mezzo-Litro.
The music
The pages that the Lorenzo Perosi Ensemble will tacklemusical excellence of our territory, founded in 1997 by Maestro Arturo Sacchetti and since then active throughout Europe, they are imbued with rhythms and melodic cues typical of Bohemian, Russian and Spanish folklore and they are iconic of one of the most important musical movements of the 19th century, nationalism.
