The Tour arrives: from Saturday 29th the first parking bans, free shuttles on Monday 1st July

The countdown is almost over for the historic start of the Tour de France from Italy, scheduled for June 29 with the Florence-Rimini stage.

July 1st is the day of the third stage Piacenza-Turin.

The first parking bans will come into force in some car parks on Saturday 29th July and on Monday morning 1st July there will be a block on traffic in the streets affected by the Tour.

All information was provided at the press conference and is available on the website of the Municipality of Piacenza.

On Monday 1 July, from 8am, traffic will be blocked in the streets affected by the passage of the caravan and the athletes who will first parade in the centre, while the actual race will start from Ponte Trebbia.

The Tour caravan will leave at 9.15 from the public promenade, the athletes at 11.15 from Viale Malta.

To reach the city on July 1st, free shuttles are available every 10 minutes from the Expo, the cemetery, the stadium and the Veggioletta.

On the morning of Monday 1st July the number 0523 492896 will be active from 7.30am to 2.00pm for information.
