What to do at the weekend in Brescia and the province: the events of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June 2024

Last weekend of June, summer (at least on the calendar) has begun. As for the weather…we’re on the right track. Here, like every week, a selection of events scheduled in Brescia and the province scheduled between Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024.

Brescia

“28 May 1974. A day without sunset”

Inaugurated on May 17th, the exhibition can be visited until October 31st 2024 from 9am to 2pm in the spaces of the State Archives of Brescia via Galileo Galilei 42. Extraordinary openings on Saturday 27th September from 10am to 5pm and Sunday 13th October from 10am to 5pm. Free entry with reservation. The route was created as part of the commemorations for the 50th anniversary of the Piazza della Loggia massacre in Brescia on 28 May 1974, in collaboration with the Police Headquarters and Casa della Memoria of Brescia.

Gardone Riviera

The Paglieri collection at the Vittoriale degli Italiani

As part of the event See, see: these are the cards I wanted to show you, next June 29th at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera the president Giordano Bruno Guerri will present to the public the most important acquisition of D’Annunzio documents ever made in the history of the Vittoriale.

Mechanics of wonder

Three Garda exhibitions: “Cielo zero” open until 3 November 2024 in the spaces of «Leonesia-Fondazione Vittorio Leonesio» in Puegnago del Garda on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. Curated by Flaminio Gualdoni; “The weight of the stars” is the title of Marco Pellizzola’s exhibition which can be visited from 26 May to 28 July 2024 (Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm) in the church of the historic cemetery of San Felice del Benaco, curated by Mariacristina Maccarinelli, «Entr’acte» is the title of Fabio Racheli’s exhibition hosted at the Parco del Castello di Moniga del Garda curated by Ilaria Bignotti and Camilla Remondina, inaugurated on 16 June and open to visitors until 31 August 2024, always open. Salo

Personal exhibition of the master Athos Faccinacci

From Friday 28 June 2024 to Thursday 11 July 2024 the Sala Domus in Salò will host a personal exhibition by Maestro Athos Faccincani, an artist of rare sensitivity, capable of giving life to the darkness with brushstrokes of light. Entrance is free. The works on display will create a path that will invite us to meditate around light, colors and simple stories. A story that Faccincani illustrates around his lake, in fact, not only the subjects that characterize it will be present in the exhibition, but also many works dedicated to the brightest and most exciting views of Lake Garda. Fish Parade for Strabilio Festival
