The Universal Civil Service projects at the ODV CO.TU.LEVI called “Invisible dangers and digital crimes 3.0” and “You are not alone 2” will be launched on 27 June 2024.
The activities proposed by the Trapani volunteer organization chaired by Aurora Ranno will be conducted as part of the Universal Civil Service Program “Educating in Legality against all forms of violence and discrimination 2023” as part of the actions proposed by the Department for Youth Policies and for the Universal Civil Service through a public tender which – this year – allowed the selection of 52,236 volunteer operators throughout the country.
Dozens of Sicilian municipalities are involved in the ODV CO.TU.LEVI. and over one hundred places made available in the context of activities to prevent and combat gender violence; Trapani, Messina, Palermo, Agrigento, Enna and Catania are the provinces involved in the initiative.
For CO.TU.LEVI. – which to date covers all the Sicilian provinces and several provinces of the Peninsula with its own anti-violence network – this represents the third Universal Civil Service call proposed in the Sicilian territory after those of 2019 and 2020 which allowed the involvement of over two hundred volunteers .
