Train+bus, the Argentario Link service starts from 29 June

Grosseto, 26 June 2024 – The new intermodal service “Argentario Link” starts on June 29th one of the regional novelties of the Trenitalia Summer Experience (lead company of the Passenger Hub of the FS Italiane Group). It will be possible to purchase, in a single solution on all Trenitalia channels (ticket offices, website, App and Self-Service) the train plus bus ticket indicating the station as arrival or departure “Porto Santo Stefano”. Over 35 links daily on weekdays and 26 on holidays, to reach or depart from the city of Argentario to all the destinations offered by Trenitalia. This is a novelty – and a new step towards sustainable and integrated mobility – in the planning of Tuscan regional transport, made possible thanks to the synergy between Trenitalia and Autolinee Toscane, with the support of the Municipality of Monte Argentario and the Region Tuscany, planning and financing body for services. By selecting “Porto Santo Stefano” as the final or departure destination, in just one click you will purchase the integrated train ticket to Orbetello station (on the Pisa-Rome line) and the bus ticket, which will coincide with the train from the station to the Porto Santo Stefano.
