Torino like the striker born in 2005 owned by Inter but must make a careful assessment of a request from the Nerazzurri

In view of the new direction signed by Paolo Vanoli, Torino will try to strengthen their attacking department. Compared to last season, the Granata have in fact lost David Okereke who has returned to Cremona at the end of his loan and it cannot be ruled out a priori that other exits will occur. Then there are those offensive players like Seck, Karamoh and Radonjic who will have to be evaluated by the new coach to understand whether they fit into his project or not and whether he will be able to find them a place on the pitch. To find new offensive resources, Torino is therefore testing the market with the name of Pinamonti who, as reported in these columns, always remains alive. In addition to him, however, the Granata are also observing Francesco Pio Esposito.

Torino is targeting Esposito: Inter, however, are asking for a buy-back option to be included

For a few days now there has been talk of Toro’s interest in Esposito, a young striker born in 2005 owned by Inter. Last season the center forward born in Castellamare di Stabia made his professional debut wearing the Spezia shirt in Serie B. Now, having completed his loan in Liguria, he has returned to the Nerazzurri but his fate is unlikely to remain at the court of Simone Inzaghi. In fact, together with other teams, Torino is on the trail of the 2005 class but Inter has a particular request to let their young center forward leave. In order to let Esposito leave, the Milanese club requests that a buy-back right be inserted so as not to completely lose control over the boy. Now Toro will therefore have to carefully evaluate whether to focus on the former Spezia player with the awareness that Inter could return in a year and leave a handful of flies in the hands of the Granata by buying back Esposito’s card for a pre-established sum. This is certainly not an ideal scenario for Torino who have already faced a similar scenario in past seasons with the Tommaso Pobega deal who had arrived on loan from Milan and after a good championship under Juric’s orders had returned to the Rossoneri without the grenades being able to do anything. Toro therefore likes Esposito but must carefully evaluate whether he wants to focus on a young boy who could have ample room for improvement but without the certainty of having his future in his hands for a long time.
