Nicola Contardi is the new president of the Commuters Association

A new guide for the Piacenza Commuters Association. Last June 19th the association’s Council met to decide on the election of the new president Nicola Contardi, who has been a member of the association for years and has been a commuter for even longer. «I undertake to appoint a new Council as well as to re-establish relations with the institutions, primarily with the Municipality of Piacenza to address the various dossiers. A first meeting will be with the majority and opposition municipal councilors”, explained the new president. The election following Valeria Caimmi’s resignation from the presidency «due to the difficulty in reconciling the role with professional commitments», are his words.

The members of the association present at the session Mauro Braghieri (treasurer), Paolo Martini, Luca Tosi, Giuseppe Nuovo and Nicola Contardi himself accepted the resignation “thanking Valeria Caimmi for the two years at the helm of the association”.

Once the new president was elected, the association focused on the budget whose approval was postponed «due to the non-functioning of the Otp device which allows access to the association’s home banking. The treasurer Mauro Braghieri undertakes to go to the Banco Popolare – Banco Bpm where the account is located, reserving additional days for the presentation of the financial statements – the association informs -.
