CASERTA – Councilor Paolo Santonastaso sends a press note in which he denounces the President of the City Council Gentile for having censored him in his questions to Councilor Sadotto: “My questions addressed to Councilor Sadotto will not be dealt with during the question time of Thursday 27 June.
The President of the City Council, Lorenzo Gentile, encouraged in this sense, saw fit to remove them, exceeding, in my opinion, the limits of his own competences.
Basically, they censored me.
Important questions, regarding the failure to publish the tender minutes in the Notice Board and the reason for the low revenue regarding the use and concession of municipal property.
The reason? Councilor Sadotto does not want to answer.
She did not appear in the Council on 4 occasions citing personal reasons and at the last question time she even sent a note in which she literally highlighted that the questions did not comply with the Regulations since their content did not concern the function of political-administrative direction but the management tasks of the offices in the person of the officials and managers.
Surely the Councilor forgets that he is required, in any case, pursuant to art. 43 of the TUEL, to respond to inspection union requests relating to the branch concerned for which he is responsible, naturally interfacing first with the Manager or Official of the sector.
Therefore, I wrote, as in other circumstances, to the Prefect, confident of a decisive intervention also for this sad affair.
