The increase in pressure over the central Mediterranean is confirmed, due to the rise of a promontory of the African anticyclone which facilitates a period of stable and mostly sunny weather also over the Veneto, which however seems destined to end with the weekend.

Lorenzo Badellino, meteorologist for 3BMeteo.com, confirms the increase in temperatures for these days, «with maximum values ​​that will reach 34/35°C on Saturday in the plains, the hottest day. In particular, in Verona, Padua, Vicenza and Treviso, maximums of 33°C are expected, 31°C in Venice».
However, new rains should arrive as early as July 1st: «On Monday, however, a disturbance will reach the Veneto causing a worsening in the morning starting from the Alps, with showers and thunderstorms which between the afternoon and evening will reach the plain areas and those coastal, being locally strong and accompanied by hail. Temperatures will decrease, with highs around 28/30°C in the lowland areas. At times unstable conditions could continue into the following days, with an opportunity for new showers or locally strong thunderstorms and further decreasing temperatures”.

Veneto region

The Decentralized Functional Center of the Civil Protection of Veneto has issued a new warning of hydrogeological and hydraulic criticality, valid from 2:00 pm today to 2:00 pm tomorrow, in which the state of attention for hydraulic criticality in the Adige and Po basins is confirmed.

Specifically, the hydraulic criticality in the Adige-Garda and Monti Lessini alert areas; Po,Fissero-Tartaro-Canal Bianco and Basso Adige; Basso Brenta -Bacchiglione is related to the Adige river and is to be considered orange (warning) in the downstream section of Boara Pisani, yellow (attention) in the upstream section. Furthermore, in the alert area of ​​Po, Fissero-Tartaro-CanalBianco and Basso Adige, the YELLOW hydraulic criticality also refers to the Po River, affected in these hours by the transit of the flood wave.
