«We are bringing to the finish line a corrective measure that offers huge allocations and concrete responses to various ongoing emergencies. We maintain our commitment to guaranteeing the financial stability of the Municipalities, allocating as much as 50 million to offset the extra costs of waste, a fundamental help for the mayors in containing the Tari increases. Another 50 million are donated to businesses, establishing a measure similar to the “Expensive Mortgage Bonus” for families. In fact, through Irfis, the Region will provide a contribution that will mitigate the increases in interest rates recorded in the last year for Sicilian companies. Among the other initiatives of the regional government worth mentioning, there is certainly the rescue of Ast and the aid to the agricultural sector affected by the drought affecting Sicily. Finally, a new piece in the fight against regional precarious employment with the law that will lead to the objective of absorbing the entire former Pip basin. The regional government therefore intervenes in key areas such as agriculture, drought, support for businesses, balance of municipalities, precarious employment. Thanks to the president Gaetano Galvagno and to the colleagues of the Sicilian Regional Assembly for the sense of responsibility demonstrated and the maturity of the debate conducted, however, in the interest of the Sicilians”. The regional councilor for the economy Marco Falcone said this while commenting on the approval of the budget change to the ARS.
