“Watch for the community, no to waste and corruption”

Pavia, 26 June 2024 – “Watch for the community so that the funds intended for recovery and for the most fragile categories are not prey to dishonest operators and are not lost among the streams of waste and corruption”, “always pursue, greater vigor, determination and ability to select, the most serious, insidious and deplorable forms of tax evasion and avoidance, to prevent the many, many honest and responsible people who contribute to the functioning of our society from being victims of the deplorable sense of opportunism of subjects accustomed to the codes of illegality”.

These i main objectives of the Financial Policesummarized by provincial commander of Pavia, colonel Ugo Poggi, in his speech at the ceremony, this afternoon, Wednesday 26 June, in the courtyard of the “Tenente Lillo” barracks in Corso Garibaldi, for the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Corps, in the presence of the civil, religious and military authorities of the province and representatives of Pavia’s financiers and local sections of the National Association of Italian Financiers (Anfi).

During the ceremony they were also awards given to financiers who have distinguished themselves in service operations, with the delivery of 3 commendations: to Lieutenant Antonio Caiazza; to Lieutenant Fabio Marroccoli, Marshal Sebastiano Lanza and the officer chosen for special qualification Enzo Ramaci; to the assistant marshal Marcello De Nuccio and the ordinary marshal Marco Coppola. The certificate of meritorious member of Anfi was also delivered to Giuseppina Fiocchi, widow of Orfeo Giusto, collected by her son Andrea Giusto. Finally, 6 scholarships were awarded: to Caterina Manzo, Alessandro Cera, Antonio Drammis, Michele Lurante, Alessandro Mazzeo and Alessandro Tragni.
