«The CISL Magna Grecia and the CISL FP Magna Grecia ask for the decisive and urgent intervention of the President of the Region and Commissioner for Health Roberto Occhiuto, to address the delicate dispute raised by the workers of the Romolo Hospital nursing home. A company that has been involved for over 20 years in assisting patients with urological and uro-oncological pathologies, and whose employees see their future at risk following the restart, linked to an administrative dispute, of the authorization and accreditation procedure, which has finally come to fruition positive conclusion. In fact, since last August, the Provincial Health Authority of Crotone has not taken steps to remunerate the services which have been uninterruptedly guaranteed at the cost of enormous sacrifices made by over 100 employees and the company. A situation that risks seriously impacting the maintenance of employment levels, with serious repercussions on the socio-economic fabric of the area and on the needs of patient care. To discuss the dispute, we will participate in the meeting tomorrow in the town hall of Rocca di Neto, convened by the mayor Alfonso Dattolo”.
