Today the province of Benevento has been enriched by the presence of 9 people who have obtained a “Basic level Braille” certificate. After the orientation and mobility course, Ierfop Onlus (European Institute for Research on Professional Orientation Training), a training agency recognized by the MIUR, returns to Benevento and is making headlines for having given the opportunity to 9 people from the province, mostly teachers of support, to participate in a totally free course, with a final certificate in “Braille – basic level”.

The course began on March 27, 2024 in e-learning mode for 40 hours of lessons, with mandatory attendance for 70% of the total hours and ended today with a final assessment. This course is very important for an approach to Braille reading and writing used by the blind and visually impaired and which can be useful to support teachers as well as family members of blind people.

At the same time, Angelo Raffaele Goglia and Maria Francesca worked to raise awareness of other courses that Ierfop organizes throughout the country. “It is therefore appropriate to say thanks to all the management and members of the IERFOP Onlus staff, in particular to the tutor Sofia Flori and the teacher Michele Piccolo, as well as to the people who participated to make the inclusion of all people with vision problems” comment the organisers
