The English actress Florence Hunt by BridgertonBritish singer and actor Jim Sturgess and Australian actress Teresa Palmer join the cast of the television series Mix Tape. The American magazine reports it exclusively Variety.

Mix Tape is a musical drama series, an Australian-Irish co-production that began filming in Sydney last May. Production is currently underway in Dublin.

The TV series is produced by Subotica and Aquarius Films, with Boat Rocker overseeing international distribution. In Australia it will be broadcast on Binge, a streaming service operated by local pay-TV market leader Foxtel.

Australian actress Palmer will play Alison, while Englishman Sturgess (Cloud Atlas) will take on the role of Daniel. The two will play two friends who have moved and now live on opposite sides of the planet. They will reconnect through a song from their shared past. They will explore their curiosity to discover if this is the love and life they were destined to have when they first met in the 1980s.
