The 11th edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market (30 August – 1 September 2024), organized as part of the Venice Production Bridge, will take place during ’81. International Film Festival of the Venice Biennale (28 August – 7 September 2024). Selected projects from Europe and around the world will be able to complete their financing through one-to-one meetings with international professionals. During the three days of the Venice Gap-Financing Market, 61 projects from all over the world will be presented in the final stages of development and financing. Nearly 320 projects were received and the selection reflects the great diversity of backgrounds, stories and talents, genres and budgets of the projects submitted.
This year the Venice Production Bridge celebrates the 11th edition of the Venice Gap-Financing Market.

In 2024 the VPB Focus will be Luxembourg & Wallonia – Brussels supported by Film Fund Luxembourg and Center du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel and Japan supported by JETRO.
The selection is divided into: 34 feature-length fiction and documentary projects (including 6 VPB Focus projects); 16 Immersive projects (including 4 VPB Focus projects); 8 Biennale College Cinema – Immersive projects; 3 Biennale College Cinema projects.
The Venice Gap-Financing Market will organize meetings between the teams (made up of producer and director) of the 61 projects and professionals with decision-making power (producers, private and public financiers, banks, distributors, sales agents, televisions, streamers, VOD platforms, institutions, post-production companies…). All meetings will be held at the Venice Production Bridge locations (Hotel Excelsior and the Venice Immersive island) and will be organized via the Venice Production Bridge website.
