As the title says, Breaststhe collective exhibition at the prestigious ACP Palazzo Franchetti of Venice, has as its iconographic and manifesto subject the breastrepresented in the various works on display by over thirty emerging and established artists – including Salvador Dalì, Marcel Duchamp, Issa Salliander – from all over the world.

Open to the public from April 18th to November 24ththe exhibition, conceived and curated by Carolina Pasti, with the support of Very intimate as the main sponsor, it is an artistic journey aimed at sparking new reflections on the breast as a fragment of the beauty of the female body, the cradle of motherhood, part of the historical and cultural process of empowerment, as well as important conversations on its health.
The collaboration between Breasts and Intimissimi was born as a spontaneous connection between the identity of the main Italian lingerie and intimate apparel brand and the exploratory dimension of art. The brand in fact supports and promotes, with patronage and awareness of its role, the configuration of a dialoguing perspective between art and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship. From this synergy comes the painting that evokes the story of “the Art of Lingerie”, a transposition that describes the making of a bra as a metaphorical parallel of the most authentic artistic process. From the original inspiration to the meticulous care of materials and details, from the creative development of the prototype to the final production, with over 30 components assembled by hand for an Intimissimi bra.

Visitors to the exhibition will be greeted by a curtain, which partially conceals a shot created ad hoc in collaboration with Buchanan Studio, and which features an iconic Intimissimi bra, the incipit of a journey of visual discovery that will continue in the spaces adjacent to the exhibition.
Furthermore, some busts on display, in a separate room, wear bras representative of the brand. Art becomes an important channel of transmission and tool of inclusiveness, which allows the training and promotion of tools of thought and awareness.
