A rich program of events to animate the Pisan coast and enhance its tourist offer. The “Marenia NonSoloMare 2024” exhibition starts on Saturday 29 June and ends on 28 September, promoted by the Municipality of Pisa, with the participation of the North West Chamber of Commerce and with the collaboration of Teatro di Pisa, Confcommercio Pisa, Proloco Litorale Pisano and Heliopolis. The program of events, which will involve Marina, Tirrenia and Calambrone with meetings, presentations, concerts, shows for children and talent shows, all at free entrywas presented this morning, June 26, with a press conference at Bagno Mary.
“We can say that we have reached the turning point in terms of the number of free events on the entire Pisan coast – declared the tourism councilor of the Municipality of Pisa, Paul Pesciatini. It will be a summer at the seaside in Tirrenia Marina di Pisa and Calambrone not to be missed and remembered. Starting from Tirrenia in July with writers, journalists and literary critics who will take turns on the Ciclilandia stage, where workshops aimed at children and days dedicated to yoga and wellbeing will also take place. Concerts and musicals instead take place in Piazza Belvedere with tributes to Battisti, Dalla, Battiato, to Raffaella Carrà with Beatrice Baldaccini, to the 80s with Steve Martin, Sandy Marton and Le Dolce Vita, and the Notte Blu with Sergio Friscia curated by Confcommercio. To then move on to Marina di Pisa with Marina Dance Parade, again in July, and the great August concerts of Dire Straits Legacy, the legacy of the historic rock band which will be supported by bassist, singer and record producer Trevor Horn, Colapesce Dimartino, Santi French. In Calambrone among the numerous Eliopoli evenings we will have concerts and covers including Claudio Cecchetto, Ronn Moss, Greg, Butinar, Pantani, to name just a few. The Proloco will also organize photographic exhibitions, Miss Litorale, the literary prize “Il delfino”. And finally on September 8th the fireworks”.
As in previous years the redeveloped Ciclilandia Park in Tirrenia in Piazza dei Fiori the garden on the coast will host the exhibition Author’s dialogues. From 6 July to 27 July a rich calendar of book presentations and meetings with authors organized by Pisan bookshops, which will give the opportunity to listen and dialogue with various authors. This year the initiative was organized with the participation of two bookshops: Libreria Pellegrini, Libreria Civico 14. Among the numerous guests were the authors Riccardo Chiaberge, Walter Siti, Rossella Martina, Veronica Galletta, Maria Pia Pagani, Aura Cenni and Lorenzo Donati, Gigi Paoli and Antonio Socci. The program also includes events for physical well-being (“Yoga by the sea”) and creative workshops for the little ones with events also in Marina di Pisa (Giardino delle scuole Viviani).
Always in Tirrenia, in Belvedere squareis scheduled “July in music” with 4 musical evenings. The first (16 July) with the concert of three singer-songwriters dedicated to Dalla Battisti and Battiato, followed by an evening tribute to Raffaella Carrà with Beatrice Baldaccini (17 July), one dedicated to the legendary ’80s, with guests who are icons of the decade such as Sandy Marton and Tracy Spencer together with the group Le Dolce Vita (18 July). On July 19th appointment with La Notte Blu di Tirrenia and with SergioFrisciaDjSet Live Animation.
TO Marina di Pisa in Balearic Square from 18 to 21 August space for big events musical with live music concerts. Taking the stage will be Colapesce Dimartino (18 August), Dire Straits Legacy (19 August) and Santi Francesi (21 August). On 20 August, again in Piazza delle Baleari, the final of the talent show Notti di Talento, promoted by La Nazione. Other events scheduled include Marina Dance Parade (5 July) in collaboration with Confcommercio Pisa.
In Calambroneinstead, will take place “Heliopolis Summer” (Piazza A. Madonna) with live music, meetings, shows and talk shows that will enliven the square of Eliopoli throughout the summer. Sunday 8 September is the appointment with the now traditional and long-awaited event fireworks display on the Marina seafront.
