On Monday, on St. John’s Day, Giorgio Paglini was awarded civic merit, the main recognition among those given to the most deserving citizens of Busto Arsizio as part of the Thanksgiving holiday (read here).
And this morning the unveiling of the marble slab took place in the atrium of the Views of Palazzo Gilardoni on which the name of the entrepreneur, awarded for his constant support for the initiatives of the municipal administration and the communitywhich contributed to the development of the area.
«You must be proud to read your name here. If you look at those who preceded you – Mayor Emanuele Antonelli said, addressing Paglini, indicating the plaques with the names of the deserving people – they are all people who contributed to making Busto Arsizio great. And you are one of them. It was easy for me to spot you. This is the dream of all the citizens of Busto and you made it. Congratulations again.”
“It’s a great pride for me,” said Paglini, flanked by his wife Nicoletta and daughter Elena. Also present at the short ceremony were the deputy mayor Manuela Maffioli, the president of the city council Laura Rogora, the city councilor Orazio Tallarida and the former councilor Paola Magugliani.
