Presented this morning the team of president Alberto Cirio, for the second mandate at the helm of the Piedmont Region. “This is proof of compactness that has always animated the center-right. I was proclaimed on the night between Thursday and Friday. Today is Wednesday and next to me is the council” explained Cirio, introducing his councillors.

Confirmed five departments for Brothers of Italythe first party of the center-right coalition, which is also assigned the vice presidency. Cirio’s number two is the Biella native Elena Chiorino, which will continue the path started in the last five years in Work and Education. “It is the first time that there is a woman holding the role of vice president of the Region” underlines Cirio. TO Maurizio Marrone (for which the delegations to Health were initially hypothesized) remains Welfare. The “hot potato” of Health (whose budget item alone absorbs 80% of the Region’s resources) falls to the former mayor of Casale Monferrato and regional vice-coordinator of Fdi, Federico Riboldi. To the other deputy coordinator, the outgoing group leader Paolo Bongioanni, goes Agriculture. Culture, Tourism and Sport end up in the hands of the deputy mayor of Novara Marina Chiarelli. Finally, a Davide Nicco the presidency of the regional council will go.
The Civic List
After the success at the polls, Cirio’s civic list includes two councillors. Thus Cirio’s former chief of staff enters the council, Gian Luca Vignale with the delegations to the Personnel and the Lawyers and the outgoing mayor of Busca, champion of preferences in Cuneo, Marco Gallo which is responsible for development, promotion of the mountains, snow system, biodiversity and truffles.

The Cav party reconfirms the outgoing councilors Andrea Tronzano to the Budget e Marco Gabusi to Transport. The Azzurri also take home a position as undersecretary, which is entrusted to the former councilor Claudia Porchietto.
The League
Two councilors for Matteo Salvini’s League, which emerged badly from the polls.
