Tricolore tricolore for Canottieri Lario: from Como to the Italian Varese Senior, Lightweight, Under 19 and Para Rowing Championships which took place last weekend in Varese.
Lario rowers in the national Olympus
The historic company from Como presented itself at the start of the tricolors with seven crews which in fact did not disappoint expectations, indeed they confirmed it in the national Olympus. Gold medal and tricolor title for the eight women’s Under 19 team composed of Letizia Martorana, Carolina Cassani, Sara Lucia Caterisano, Veronica Poletti, Infantryman India, Gaia Caterisano, Chiara Solano, Angelica Cremonesi And Dafne De Girolamo, helmsman of Moltrasio, who preceded Canottieri Roma and Caprera with a time of 6:36.74. Top step of the podium also for the four with Under 19 from Lario composed of Filippo B Ancora, Michele Minazzato, Luca Cassina And Pietro Gozzi and the helmsman Doni Riccardo (Varese SC). So the hat trick came thanks to four without Under19 again with Filippo B Ancora, Michele Minazzato, Luca Cassina completed by Nathan Sartor.
Silver medal for women
Also noteworthy is the brilliant silver medal won by the Under 19 women’s four sculls team composed of India Del Fante, Chiara Solano, Angelica Cremonesi And Gaia Caterisanowho finished behind Canottieri Moltrasio and ahead of Canottieri Corgeno.
Podium missed by the two without Senior men’s Giulio Zuccalà and Emanuele Castino fourth place in the final.
