Hundreds of commercial and artisan businesses open in the evening from 8.30pm to 11.30pm, accompanied by music, DJ sets and street food. Without forgetting the appointments with art and culture.

Early evening appointments
The guided tour, always free, this Wednesday will be a journey to discover ancient Egypt. Tales of wizards, witches and amulets at the time of the great pharaohs will accompany the visit to the young mummy and the small collection of Egyptian artefacts, preserved within the civic museums of San Domenico. The tour is organized by the Cise (Italian Center for Egyptological Studies) of Imola in collaboration with the Bàrdur cultural association. The meeting point is at 8.30pm at the museum infopoint.
Like last Wednesday, today too the historic garden of the bishop’s palace of Imola and the adjacent carriage museum, overlooking the courtyard of the bishop’s palace, will be open to the public from 8pm to 11pm. It will also be possible to visit the Foundation gallery (from 7.30pm to 10.30pm – Piazza Matteotti, 1), which hosts the exhibition The collections of Palazzo Sersanti. Last, but not least, the visit to the cellars of the Carmine church (via Emilia 3) at the time of the Second World War.

For the little ones
Families will be able to choose from many animations and entertainment opportunities. Such as the narrations aloud and creative workshops curated by Michela Giordani (Selma Libreria) entitled How to become explorers of the world in Via Emilia Ovest or the inflatable games and amusement park in Piazza Matteotti. The concert is at 8.45pm White voices under the stars of the Choir The Golden Grillo always in the square. In via XX Settembre there will be workshops for children organized by Maison et Fleurs, as well as in via Vaini in the company of Mani d’Inchiostro. There will be no shortage of face painting in via Emilia Ovest. In Piazza Gramsci, however, there will be space for karate performances by the Takeshi Club of Imola, inflatable games and cotton candy, fencing demonstrations and duels with the Defenders of the Fortress and the Imola Fencing Club, as well as entertainment for the little ones with sport games for children and martial arts for children and adults organized by the Imola Kung Fu School and Discipline. The Biancoverde gymnasts will perform in Piazza Matteotti.

Music and performances
Many live performances are scheduled for the second evening: itinerant African dances by the Beguè association and Danza la città by ARTlab in Piazza Matteotti. Songita concert at Caffè Emilia and THE SOUL RELEVATION at Caffè Bologna and continuing on Via Emilia with THE PERIPHERIES, guests at Caffè Porteno with themed cocktails. In via Aldovrandi, music and themed tastings at the Senegal Market. Music with Adrea Grossi at Caffè del Duomo and Noe Tommasini at Elio’s Cafè. JEKO MUSIC concert by CSI at Palazzo Monsignani.
Finally at 9pm at the Arena Spettacoli in the Court of Palazzo Monsignani, on the occasion of its 12th birthday, the PerLeDonne ODV association for women’s rights and against gender violence gives the city a concert of 13 young artistschosen from among the participants in the initiative Timeless School Contest, a school contest in the musical field which this year involved around 7000 students and 47 artists from 7 institutes in the Emilia Romagna area, including the Polo Liceale of Imola, the Istituto Paolini-Cassiano, the Liceo Canova of Forlì, the Polo High School of Faenza, the Alberghetti Institute of Imola, the Oriani Institute of Faenza and the High School of Lugo. The creative work of the children will focus on the theme of the evening Africa and Oceania and will bring to light some important issues such as Climate Change, Armed Conflicts and resource management.
