LATIANO – Violence against a woman has broken out once again within the home. The victim was taken to the Perrino hospital in Brindisi, in intensive care. The blows inflicted were violent and caused damage. Meanwhile, the Carabinieri, who intervened on site, are proceeding quickly with the investigations of the case, although the picture appears clear. Now we need to reconstruct the dynamics to move the protests. Suspicion falls on his partner. The episode happened yesterday, Tuesday 25 June 2024, around 10pm. It happened in a house in Latiano.
She, the victim, is 39 years old. Him, two years older. Yesterday the neighbors heard noises coming from their home. Noises that gave the exact image of what was happening inside. They then called the police from the local station, who intervened. At the moment, the confidentiality regarding the delicate situation is evident, also to protect the victim.
The military immediately alerted the 118 health workers and the 39-year-old was taken to the Perrino hospital in Brindisi, suffering from multiple traumas, just to give an idea of the violence of the attack. The matter, from the criminal point of view, has obviously just begun, the investigations are ongoing. Those who know the man – suspicions fall on him – add that he also practices martial arts. At the time of writing, the woman is in serious condition, still in the intensive care unit. The prognosis is guarded.
