Still high level results for the Tuttauto Davitti Nuoto Grosseto Master company at the recent regional open water championships held in Piombino where they achieved regional master and youth titles. There will be two competitions, a cross-country race over a distance of two and a half kilometres, and a cross-country race of five kilometres. The Maremma club, after the good results of recent weeks, showed up in Piombino with 32 participants in the middle distance race, proving to be up to the task of the event with Simone Di Sabato, Nicola Soldati, Massimo Milano, Roberto Olmi and Mario Corrias, who regional champions have graduated in the categories M 45, M 30, M 50, M 60, M 55 respectively. Great performance for Elena Desideri, regional champion M 55. Excellent results for Michele Tassi second in the M 40 category and Luca Barbini third in the M category 60. Worth noting is the excellent performance of Luca Ciabatti in the M 60 category who, despite not winning the podium, ran a flawless race. Instead, the 5000 meter race saw other prestigious results with Simone Di Sabato, Massimo Milano, Elena Desideri and Anita Moscardini who prevailed in their respective categories. Third place for Marco Corrias, third M55, second Luca Valeriani in the M 50 category, second, third also for Lucilla Mancini in the M 55 category. The event was enriched by the participation of the youth categories and here too Nuoto Grosseto, under the supervision of the president of Alessandro Del Bottegone company, obtained flattering results in particular in the 5000 meters race with Andrea Lucarelli regional champion in the Boys category and with third place for Lorenzo Morrocchi. At the end of the event, the icing on the cake was the team victory ahead of Firenze Hsport and the Prato Swimmers. Great satisfaction for Alessandro Varani, coach of the Grosseto club.
