CIVITAVECCHIA – Starting from Saturday 29 June The health teams, made up of personnel from the company’s Department of Health Professions, are returning to the beaches of the coast and to the shores of the lakes in the territory of the ASL Roma 4, thanks to the project “Serene Beaches”.
The initiative, now in its second year, is promoted by OPI with the aim of informing the population about the correct behavior to be observed on the beach, promoting healthy lifestyles, raising awareness on the prevention of risky behaviors and providing training in first aid interventions.
The first of the 16 scheduled appointments will take place this Saturday, June 29th, from 9.00 to 13.00 at the beach of the Santa Severa castle where an information point will be set up and healthcare personnel will distribute material and carry out demonstrations of resuscitation techniques and will perform vital signs measurements.
“Given the important feedback and participation obtained last year – declared the Acting Director General, Dr Robert DiCicco – the ASL Roma 4 has decided to join the project again. Spiagge Serene is one of those actions that contribute to bringing healthcare closer to citizens and to promoting health through prevention activities and correct lifestyles outside the usual healthcare facilities”.
