“The approval by the Lombardy Regional Council of the majority agenda ‘Integration of own resources to the Non Self-sufficiency Fund (FNA)’ is good.
With this text, the resources already allocated by President Attilio Fontana and the Councilor for Family, Social Solidarity, Disability and Equal Opportunities Elena Lucchini in favor of people with disabilities are increased by a further 733 thousand euros. A provision that concretely demonstrates how this issue is central to the Lombardy Region”.
“It is also right to remember how the Lombardy Region allocated 2 million euros last May 31st – added to the 30.5 (of which 13 coming from the Regional Health Fund) already made available last March – for people with very serious disabilities and the elderly not self-sufficient. And as announced some time ago, with the budget adjustment for next July we have committed to finding further resources amounting to 8.5 million”.
“Thanks therefore to the majority and to the Fontana Council, the incessant work continues to guarantee fair assistance and contributions to citizens with disabilities and caregivers while waiting for the approval of the next budget. Thus, once again, the controversies and falsehoods of the left have been silenced with concrete actions. Lombardy demonstrates attention to the needs of people with disabilities by strengthening services.”
This was declared by the majority group leaders of the Lombardy Regional Council Garavaglia (FdI), Corbetta (Lega), Figini (FI), Cosentino (LI), Gallizzi (Nm).
