Breakthrough at the Ravenna cat shelter where in a raid on the night between Sunday and Monday, criminals devastated the structure which currently houses eighty abandoned cats.

The bitter discovery was made on Monday morning by the President of the “Soli a quattrozampe” Association (the voluntary association that has managed the Ravenna cat shelter for many years), Lorella Sirotti.

“The criminals caused extensive damage to the structure, breaking windows and doors. They took everything away (today we need cleaning products, rags, sponges, scourers, bleach sprays and much more) but above all they made the cats housed at that time escape, some of whom had already recovered from major traumas and were still disoriented. and in need of care” says the president.

“Our association – declares Sirotti – provides for the care and temporary or permanent hospitalization of abandoned cats in serious need, suffering from pathologies that require a period of isolation, traumatized, injured, in a problematic health condition. What happened leaves us all disconcerted.”

“There is nothing of value inside our structure and the damage suffered puts us in a situation of further difficulty in guaranteeing the continued carrying out of our activities, which is why we ask everyone to help us” he continues.

Anyone who wants to help can do so by going directly to the cat shelter, in via Trieste 342, or by making a donation to the postal account number 11176484, IBAN IT40L0627013195CC0780007513.
