He will continue until the early hours of tomorrow the phase of instability in Veneto which began yesterday evening, Monday 24 June, with frequent showers and thunderstorms: probable showers, strong gusts of wind, local hailstorms, especially between the Pre-Alps and the plains. After a break tomorrow morning, Wednesday 26th, a resumption of instability is expected from the central hours, again with showers and thunderstorms: some further intense phenomena cannot be ruled out. In light of the forecasts, the regional Civil Protection has issued a new warning of hydrogeological and hydraulic criticality valid until 2.00 pm tomorrow. A state of caution has been declared (yellow alert) due to hydrogeological criticality on all basins in the Veneto to exception of the Upper Piave.
In relation to the forecast rainfall, a “yellow” state of attention due to hydrogeological criticality for the Po basin, Fissero-Tartaro-Canal Bianco and Basso Adige, until 3am tomorrow. Due to hydraulic criticality, yellow alert for the Adige-Garda and Monti Lessini basins, and Basso Brenta-Bacchiglione. The criticality relates to the Adige, characterized by sustained levels along the entire length and by specific problems in the embankment body, which affect the section downstream of Boara Pisani.
