The Municipality of Naples is co-organizer of Napoli Pride 2024, together with Coordinamento Campania Rainbow, Antinoo Arcigay Napoli, ALFI Le Maree, Associazione Trans Napoli and Pride Vesuvio Rainbow.
This year’s edition of Pride has the theme “Make peace with rights”. Godmother is the singer Malika Ayane. In Pride Park, debates, screenings of films and shorts, book presentations and musical moments are scheduled until Friday. Furthermore, eight artistic exhibitions are set up in the spaces of the Real Albergo dei Poveri. On Friday at 5.30pm a discussion will be held in which Elly Schlein and Giuseppe Conte will be the protagonists together with the mayor Gaetano Manfredi and the Napoli Pride committee.

The many moments of discussion and sociality this week represent the best way to do it because the topic of rights must be fueled by awareness and participation. Naples has always been an inclusive city and stands, once again, as a point of reference in the debate on important issues for our communities”.

During the days of Pride Park, fundamental issues such as those of civil rights and their protection are touched upon, topics that have not represented the fulcrum of the political debate for some time. The Municipality of Naples, on the contrary, is on the front line and is happy to be able to share these moments which are very important for civil conscience with all the associations. I invite everyone to come to Pride Park and participate in the procession because we must all fight for the protection of rights together”.

While elsewhere even patronage is denied, here all the institutions are alongside Pride: the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City and the Municipality. From Naples we rebuild an alternative for the country. We will also do it with facts, with Friday’s initiative with the mayor, Elly Schlein and Giuseppe Conte”.
