The atmosphere was relaxed, with smiles and some elegant clothes (especially among the “new entries”). One will have to deal with the ceremonial and institutional relations, as she did Cristiana Barca in the years of Giorgio Gori. Two other people will be assigned to the mayor’s secretariat: these two roles have been occupied, in recent years, by Fabrizia Lorusso And Mattia Marziali. To identify the people who will fill these three positions, a public notice will be launched. Other appointments are up to the mayor, such as those for hers spokesman (Elena Carnevali is looking for a journalist who can support her in communication, as she has done Francesco Alleva when the mayor was Gori) and for the head of cabinet (role held in the last ten years by Christophe Sanchez).

The PD council group instead made a choice Francesca Riccardi as group leader. «I am very happy and proud to hold this role – she says -, I thank my colleagues for having given me this trust, which I will honor to the best of my ability. It will be serious and important work.” For the city secretary of the Democratic Party, Alessandro De Bernardis, «Francesca is the right figure to fill this role, given her experience and ability shown in the various roles carried out in recent years in the city council. The Democratic Party is clearly the largest group in this council: this imposes even more responsibility and coherence on us.”
