Tropea arrives in Ancona, the Milanese band that rose to prominence with the X Factor tale show.
On Wednesday 26 June starting from 9.30pm the Milanese band will perform on stage in Piazza del Plebiscito as part of the ‘University Wednesdays’ event.
An initiative promoted by the Department of Youth Policies to enrich the offer for young people in the city centre. Claudio Damiano will be on drums, Lorenzo Pisoni on bass, Domenico Finterno on electric guitar, while vocals, electric guitar and saxophone are entrusted to front man Pietro Selvini.
“Being able to count on a national band, with over 45 thousand followers on the Spotify music platform, is an indication of a concrete commitment towards raising the quality of events aimed at young audiences; – explains the Councilor for Youth Policies Marco Battino – this university calendar it was characterized by young artists from Ancona, such as Sofia Cagnetti and Atarde, both talents from our city. There was a large participation in the live concerts and we thank the Polytechnic University of Marche for the great collaboration and for the desire to be increasingly present. in the area, as well as attentive to the needs of the student component”. Entrance is free while places last.
The events for the university public do not end here: in addition to university Wednesdays, every Thursday there will be quiz games from 8.30pm to 10pm, while every Friday from 6.30pm to 9pm recreational-cultural activities will be held in the courtyard of the Giorgio Economics faculty Fuà. Finally, next week, the ‘Events Ancona Città Universitaria’ program will end with the Silent Party, the new way of understanding disco music, outdoors, in the heart of the city which will stop in Ancona again on Wednesday 3 July.
The events are organized by the Municipality of Ancona in collaboration with Univpm and Confartigianato Ancona and with the participation of the Piazza del Papa merchant network and ANburger.
