Adriatica Campomarino regional Under 15 Women’s champion

CAMPOMARINO. The final of the U15 C5 women’s championship took place yesterday between Adriatica Campomarino and Chaminade Campobasso.

Delegations from the Regional Committee and the Youth and School Sector were present, as well as a large audience who filled the structure of Santa Chiara di Larino.

A hard-fought final which saw coach Luca Altobello’s girls prevail, protagonists of a dominated championship as confirmed by the numbers: only victories (no draws and no defeats), best attack with 78 goals scored, best defense with 17 goals conceded and top scorer ( Alessia Soprano, 27 goals).

A path from which the great superiority of Adriatica Campomarino emerges, confirmed by the fact that most of the team is made up of smaller girls who play under age.

The victory of the U15 regional championship comes after the passage to the second phase of the U12 National championship, in which Adriatica was the only Molise team present.

The enhancement of women’s football represents an important objective, to which the historic Campomarino football school has been dedicated for years and which has allowed it to obtain important results at a national and regional level, to which must be added the twenty-year successes of the men’s youth sector.

“The girls – they explain from the Adriatica Campomarino staff – all grew up with us in recent years, have achieved a fantastic result, after having played for years in the national championships. It is a great satisfaction for us, also considering the different call-ups of many of our players in regional and national teams. The women’s football project, together with that of the men’s youth sector, continues and will bring many new features in the immediate future.”
