PESCARA. Thomas Luciani, the boy killed in Pescara with 25 stab wounds, had fled last Friday from the community of Isernia where he was at the disposal of the judges following a small conviction for petty crimes. The boy killed last night had therefore been in disarray for a few days. In the re-education program he had to attend a hairdressing workshop in Campobasso. According to what has been learned in the last two years, the boy had also caused some problems to the social services of Rosciano, the town in the Pescarese area where he had lived from the age of three with his grandmother after being abandoned by his parents. «A shocked community», admits the mayor of Rosciano Simone Polozzi. Thomas had alerted his family and the Prefecture of Pescara last November, when he voluntarily left his residence in Rosciano. The provincial plan for missing persons was activated with the involvement of the police forces, the fire brigade, the maritime directorate, the road and railway police as well as the 118 and local police forces of the municipalities involved in the searches.
