There are 26 Calabrian companies that are making themselves appreciated at Summer Fancy Food, the largest food event in North America scheduled from 23 to 25 June in New York.

The regional councilor for Agriculture, Gianluca Gallo, made sure that Calabria was represented on the most important non-European market for Italian companies by the gastronomic excellences, between land and sea, of a region rich in quality products. Oil, sweets, cheeses, but also panettone, and much more, are conquering the big apple, produced by top-level companies, which have nothing to envy of those in the rest of the world.

Calabria is the Region that proposed the largest team with the aim of supporting and making our niche products known to the largest international buyers on the American market. The stand is attracting many visitors and operators in the sector.

The Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida and the Food Association, Phil Robinson Specialty, also appreciated the proposal of the Calabria Region.

The Calabrian delegation was accompanied by the general manager of the Agriculture department, Giuseppe Iiritano, who highlighted that “Fancy Food is one of the many initiatives in the sector in which the Calabria Region is present because it represents an important opportunity both for those who are already established on the markets and wants to consolidate its presence, both for small entrepreneurs who want to expand. Our presence in New York, at Fancy Food, is a great honor for us and a great opportunity.”
