Mark your calendar. The month of July, thanks also to the rebirth of the Corte delle Sculture, is packed with free concerts and shows. But there are other events not to be missed for those who love music and also for those looking for new cultural experiences.
2nd of July
At the Villa Medicea in Poggio a Caiano there are La Crus, a group that has been flying the flag of rock songwriting for a long time. They recently reunited, released a new album and were immediately nominated for the Tenco awards. Alternatively, at the Corte delle Sculture, there is a free concert by Zu.
July 8th
At the Court of Sculptures comes a duo of Finnish girls who make strange and fascinating music. They were the protagonists of a wonderful scene in Kaurismaki’s latest film. We are talking about Maustetytot. The ticket is paid but it is worth it. The opening act will be Frisari, a young, angry and clear-minded singer-songwriter.
July 12th
At Ex Fabrica, an unmissable concert, that of Ben Shemie, French-Canadian musician and singer of the cult band SUUNS. Alternatively, we point out the same evening and always with free admission the concert “Atomos” with Andrea “Druga” Franchi, Andrea Melani and Marco De Cotiis at the Corte delle Sculture. And if instead you are looking for a bit of refreshment and a spectacular view, at the Rocca di Carmignano, also with free admission, there is the concert of Don Antonio.
July 17th
At the Corte delle Sculture a special concert is taking place: Orchestra speciale feat New Naif. A concert resulting from the workshop that the musician Stefano Tamborrino held in the social cooperative New Naif.
July 20th
The second day of the Monteferrato Festival seems the most fascinating and therefore we recommend it. Above all to experience what it means to participate in an event that lasts a whole day, immersed in the nature of the Riserva dell’Acquerino Cantagallo.

At the Corte delle Sculture, the true stage of the Prato summer, the show Death Café (a)live by Marina Minetti arrives.
July 24th
An evening dedicated to the creative genius of Paul McCartney with “Here, there and everywhere – Paul Mccartney songbook”. At the Corte delle Sculture a pleasant evening by force.
July 29th
“The Rime of the Sailor” is the very famous work by Samuel Taylor Coleridge which comes back to life at the Court of Sculptures thanks to Isabella Giustina, Alessandro Luchi and Ciro Masella.
