The data at the closing of the polls at 3pm confirm the decline in turnout in the run-offs also in the three Calabrian municipalities as well as in the rest of Italy. In Vibo Valentia at 3pm 45.71% went to the polls, compared to 66.90% in the first round. In Montalto Uffugo the turnout was 50.92% compared to 61.36% in the first round. In Gioia Tauro, after the polls were closed, 56.10% voted compared to 63.23 in the first round. This is what emerges from the Interior Ministry data published on the Eligendo portal.

TO Montalto Uffugo the candidates for mayor who reached the ballot are Biagio Antonio Faragalli (Biagio Faragalli Mayor, Montalto Azzurra, Future Prospect, I Love Montalto, Roots and Future, The Best Montalto, Civic Passion, Montalto Solidarity, Change), pharmacist and former city councilor, and Mauro D’Acri(Democratic Spring, Popular Force, Libera-Mente, Moderates for Montalto, Progress and Innovation, Agora, Montalto Protagonist, Montalto in comune, Kore) former regional councilor with responsibility for Agriculture.
