Arezzo, 24 June 2024 – Work has begun to create the “Memarancio”, the rail-rubber interchange hub that will be built in the area that runs along the tracks of the Arezzo-Florence railway line, today’s bus station.
However, for the time necessary to build the new bus station, it is necessary to ensure the continuation of the public service by reactivating the spaces of the former bus station in Viale Diaz through redevelopment works in the area. Therefore, with municipal police ordinance no. 182/2024, temporary changes have been envisaged to parking and vehicular traffic in viale Diaz and via Sante Tani (former bus station area) to allow for these interventions and guarantee the safety of road traffic.
These in particular are the measures envisaged: from 7.00 am on Thursday 27 June to 8.00 pm on Friday 26 July 2024, and in any case until the end of the works, a parking and circulation ban will be established for all vehicles in the area of the former bus station between viale Diaz and via Sante Tani, with the exception of municipally owned vehicles.
There are also restrictions on circulation and parking on the aforementioned streets, in correspondence with the traffic light system via Sante Tani-viale Diaz, limited to the areas identified by the prescribed temporary road signs.
