Away in chiaroscuro for Atletica Asti 2.2 at the weekend. Gabriele Novara brought the yellow-black shirt of Atletica Asti 2.2 to Lana, in the province of Bolzano, for the Italian Multiple Junior Championships which were held over the weekend, but unfortunately, in the eighth race out of ten an injury allowed him to close the demanding two days.

The second day was conditioned by rain. Gabriele starts with a bad start in the obstacles and an error with a hook at the third obstacle which forces him to restart but the race is now compromised. He then recovers in the discus throw with 36.79. In the first test jump in the pole vault, something that shouldn’t have happened happens: when he falls onto the mattress, Gabriele sprains his ankle, resulting in hospitalization in Merano hospital. In these hours it will be understood whether participation in the individual Italians at the end of July in Rieti will be compromised or whether Gabriele will be able to recover.
