The European Under 22 Women’s Championship will start tomorrow, Monday 1st July, scheduled in Lecce and Copertino. The event in which the Italian women’s team led by Marco Mencarelli will participate will end on Saturday 6th July with the matches that will award the medals. Ribechi and her teammates landed this morning in Brindisi and then reached Lecce. In the afternoon the Italian women’s team had their first training session at the Palazzetto Dello Sport “San Giuseppe da Copertino” in Lecce, the venue for the Pool I matches. The opening match in Lecce will see Ukraine and Turkey take to the field on Monday 1st July at 6pm. At 9pm, Italy will play its first match of the continental event against Latvia.
In Copertino, home of Pool II, the first day’s program includes Serbia-Poland (6pm) and Portugal-Czech Republic (9pm). Fans and enthusiasts will be able to follow all the European Championship matches in live streaming on the YouTube channel of the Italian Volleyball Federation. Tickets are available online to attend the matches on July 5 and 6 at the Palasport “San Giovanni da Copertino” in Lecce. It will be possible to attend the Semifinals and Finals by purchasing a ticket, while the matches valid for the group stage, scheduled from July 1 to 3 between Lecce and Copertino will be free to attend.

It will also be possible to purchase tickets at the box office of the Palasport “San Giovanni da Copertino” in Lecce open on 1,2,3 July from 5.30pm to the end of the races. At the box office it will also be possible to purchase tickets with the promotion for Under12s available at 3 euros for the day of 5 July (semi-finals), 8 euros for the day of 6 July (finals).
