Former Apu Udine Esposito has extended his contract that ties him to Verona. After his experience in Friuli, the 1999-born player will continue in Veneto:

Scaligera Basket is pleased to announce the two-year renewal of the agreement with the athlete Ethan Esposito, power forward born in Naples on October 22, 1999. In the season just ended he played 42 games, scoring 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

After his first experiences with basketball in Naples, Esposito continued his journey in the United States. In high school he wore the jersey of Torrey Pines High School, before starting his collegiate journey in 2018 first with San Diego City College (JUCO), and then moving to Sacramento State College in NCAA Division I, where in 3 seasons he made 81 appearances averaging 11.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds, with a career-high of 32 points against Montana State.

Since the 2021/22 season he has worn the APU Udine jersey, with which he has reached a playoff final and semifinal, totaling 90 total appearances with an average use of 20.4 minutes per game, 7.1 points and 4.7 rebounds, ensuring the cause, game after game, a very solid contribution. In the summer of 2023 he landed in Verona where he contributed with merit to reaching the playoff semifinal.

Ethan Esposito commented on the renewal as follows: “I am very happy to continue my journey with Verona. I know that the Club wants to make steps forward and have an important season; without a doubt my ambitions coincide with those of the Company. I will give 100% to repay the trust that has been placed in me”.
