Councilor Caterina Meli of FI announced a significant investment of 700,000 euros for weeding and cleaning urban areas, during the recent meeting of the City Council on 21 June 2024. This intervention, managed by the subsidiary Reset, aims to keep the city clean and safe, preventing problems related to public health and urban decorum.






“Our city is experiencing a crucial moment of transformation. It is essential that every intervention guarantees a concrete improvement in the quality of life of citizens. I am pleased to announce that 700,000 euros have been allocated for weeding and cleaning urban areas. This investment is essential to keeping the city clean and safe,” said Councilor Meli.




During the same session, Councilor Alongi illustrated the financial situation of the municipality, underlining the importance of careful management of resources to guarantee the sustainability of long-term projects. Alongi provided updates on urban redevelopment plans, highlighting progress on various infrastructure projects, including improvements and the creation of new green areas.



“One of the main objectives of our administration is to guarantee maximum transparency in decisions that affect citizens. We are introducing new digital platforms for more effective communication between the municipality and residents. We want every citizen to have the opportunity to actively participate in decision-making processes and to contribute with suggestions and feedback,” added Councilor Meli.



At the same time, Councilor Meli highlighted the progress of various urban development projects, including improvements to public transport and the creation of new green areas. “These interventions will not only improve the liveability of our city, but will also attract new investments, creating economic opportunities for our fellow citizens,” she concluded.
