The third stage of. arrives in Brindisi Kellogg’s Better Days, Kellanova’s initiative for urban regeneration through the redevelopment of basketball courts in the suburbs of the national territory and which promotes a healthy lifestyle, based on the combination of balanced nutrition – sport, and inclusion. The inauguration of the Parco Maniglio basketball court, located within the Bozzano district in Via Luxemburgo 6, will take place Wednesday 3 July at 4:00 pm.

In Brindisi, Kellanova honors the city’s long relationship with basketball, a sport that over time has made inroads into Brindisi culture and society, arriving in the national League A in 2012 and becoming one of the most followed sports in the city. Kellanova’s initiative fits precisely into this context, celebrating the great sporting vocation of the city and strengthening the relationship with the citizens, to whom the company gives back a redeveloped area where they can practice sports and have fun every day.

The inauguration event of the Parco Maniglio field, sponsored by the Municipality of Brindisi, will see the participation of Elisa TudinoActivation Lead Italy of Kellanova and two of the Kellogg’s Better Days Ambassadors, Giulio Maria Papiwheelchair basketball athlete of the Italian national team and Giorgia Sottanabasketball player from Famila Basket Schio who, after the ribbon cutting, will take to the field with young local basketball players, and will talk about balanced nutrition and sport as a tool for inclusion.

Kellanova’s goal is to promote, through sport, the importance of diversity and inclusion to create “Better Days” and a society capable of celebrating all differences.

In 2023, Kellanova redeveloped two basketball courts, in Milan and Reggio Emilia respectively. This year the company has already redeveloped two basketball courts in Pesaro (May) and Turin (June). After Brindisi, the Kellogg’s Better Days initiative will continue in the cities of Rome and Milan (September).
