Olbia, the “First drops” watercolor course ends: the teacher’s words

Olbia. The basic watercolor course for beginners entitled “First drops” curated by the teacher Paola Blasi and promoted by the Per Arte Vie Association in collaboration with the ASD Kinarmonia. The initiative was one of the basic objectives of the association: to bring people closer to art and a taste for beauty, valorising contemporary artists. The course, which began in March, took place continuously, receiving great enthusiasm from the students, demonstrating the importance of promoting art at all levels.

The artist was satisfied with the course she had just finished Paola Blasi, a watercolor expert, who held the lessons during these months. In fact, the teacher comments: “The course went very well. The lessons followed one another in a completely natural way, and the course hours flew by. I was very pleased to see people’s enthusiasm and see their feedback, as it was the first watercolor I had. It was truly rewarding seeing the improvements of the students, their sympathy and availability towards what, with passion, I tried to convey to them. The first two lessons were technical, without subjects, only to provide basic notions relating to backgrounds, color overlap and brush stroke methods. The other lessons instead covered simple subjects such as fruit to study three-dimensionality, then a small landscape with the steps to create it and, finally, we ventured into a higher level of difficulty, representing animals, nocturnal landscape views and sunsets with boats . I was asked to continue and I plan to prepare a second level for those who want to continue and start another first level for new students who want to enter this world. But these are projects that I intend to implement later. We’ll talk about art after the season.”
