ROME For the second round of the local elections at 23 voted for37.01% of those eligible, down compared to the first round by around 10 points. This is what emerges from the Interior Ministry data published on the Eligendo portal and which refers to all 3,586 sections. In Calabria – the region where voting is held in Vibo Valentia, Gioia Tauro and Montalto Uffugo – at 11pm today the turnout was at 38.48% (at 7pm it was 25.40%): in detail, the 34.32% in Vibo (at 7pm it was 23.71%) of those entitled compared to 37.25 in the first round; in Gioia Tauro the 43,96% (at 7pm it was 27.40) against 33.37 in the first round; The 39,83% voted in Montalto Uffugo (at 7pm it was 25.22%). Here in the first round 36.44% voted. In the same sections at 11pm on Saturday 8 June, in the first round, the percentage of voters was 21.75%, in Calabria 23.25% (Vibo was 24.84%, Gioia Tauro 21.13%, Montalto Uffuggo 22.7%). The polls will close tomorrow at 2pm and counting will begin immediately afterwards.
