On the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch and on the A8 Milan-Varese motorway, to allow flyover inspection and maintenance activities, the following closure measures will be adopted:
On the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch, from 10:00 to 16:00 on Monday 24 June, the Besnate junction will be closed on entry in both directions.
Alternatively, Autostrade recommends using the Sesto Calende Vergiate station, at km 11+900 of the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch, or Solbiate Arno at km 35+700 of the A8 or Gallarate, at km 29+900 of the A8.
On the A8 Milan-Varese:
– from 10:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday 25 June, the exit Cavaria station will be closed for those coming from Milan; alternatively Autostrade recommends exiting at the Solbiate Arno junction at km 35+700 of the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch or Gallarate at km 29+900 of the A8;
– from 10:00 to 16:00 on Thursday 27 June, Castronno station, entering Milan, will be closed; theAs an alternative, Autostrade recommends entering the Solbiate Arno station at km 35+700 of the D08 Gallarate-Gattico branch;
– from 10:00 to 16:00 on Friday 28 June, Solbiate station will be closed, entering in both directions, Milan and Varese; alternatively Autostrade recommends entering the Cavaria or Castronno station.
On the A9 Lainate-Como-Chiasso and on the A8 Milan-Varese, to allow inspection and maintenance of noise barriers, the following closure measures will be adopted:
On the A9 Lainate-Como-Chiasso, from 9.00 pm on Monday 24th to 5.00 am on Tuesday 25th June, there will be the Origgio junction closedcoming out for those coming from Lainate.
Alternatively, Autostrade recommends exiting at the Uboldo junction;
On the A8 Milan-Varese, from 9.00 pm on Monday 24th to 5.00 am on Tuesday 25th June, there will be the connection branch with the A9 Lainate-Como-Chiasso is closed for those coming from Varese.
Alternatively, Autostrade recommends the following routes:
– non-paid route: anticipate the exit at the Castellanza junction, km 18+000, merge onto the SP 527 towards Rescaldina-Uboldo-Saronno and enter the A9 motorway towards Chiasso at the Saronno junction.
– paid route: exit at Lainate station, km 8+200, take the A8
towards Varese and interconnect with the A9 motorway towards Chiasso.
On the A9 Lainate-Como-Chiasso:
– from 9.00pm on Tuesday 25th to 5.00am on Wednesday 26th June, the Origgio junction, entering Como, will be closed; alternatively Autostrade recommends entering at the Saronno junction;
– from 10pm on Friday 28th to 5am on Saturday 29th June, the “Lario est” service area, located in the stretch between Lomazzo north and Fino Mornasco, towards Como/Chiasso, will be closed.
On the A8 Milan-Varese, to allow flyover maintenance works, on the five nights of Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th June, from 9pm to 5am, the stretch between Castronno and Solbiate Arno, towards Milan, will be closed.
Alternatively, Autostrade recommends the following routes:
– light vehicles, after the obligatory exit at the Castronno junction, they can take the SP341 towards Milan and return to the A8 at the Solbiate Arno junction;
– vehicles weighing more than 35 quintals, after the obligatory exit at the Castronno junction, they can take the SP341 towards Gallarate and, once in the municipality of Albizzate, take via XXV Aprile, via Carabelli, via Alcide De Gasperi, onto the SP26 towards Varese, and then return to the A8 at Solbiate Arno.
