GRIGNO. About ten families have now been evacuated as a precaution in the municipality of Grigno after the landslides that occurred in the last few hours.
The firefighters are working on site and an inspection by the president took place this morning Maurizio Fugatti accompanied by the sVoltolini indigoby the general manager of the Civil Protection Department, Stefano Fait and the inspector Conci district.
We are currently working to clean up the streets of hamlet of Belvederi di Tezzealso intervening in the basements where a flow of gravelly debris flowed. The aim is to have the displaced people return by evening.
“Once again I thank all the firefighters and civil protection operators – commented President Fugatti – because this time too they immediately went into action with timeliness and great professionalism in order to contain the inconveniences. Fortunately, the care that our community reserves both for the issue of civil protection and for the territory itself makes us all feel less fragile. In Grigno for example the protection systems built in the past have helped avoid worse situationseven if we are aware that zero risk does not exist and for this reason we will continue to invest in organizations and infrastructures”.
As regards the situation on the territory, it is necessary to register the casting on the state road 50 closed at Schener where work is underway to restore the alternating one-way traffic (volunteer firefighters from Primiero, geologists and technicians from the Province are on site). The provincial road to Garniga (where a boulder fell) and that of Murello have already reopened, while work continues on the 138 Borcola to clean the roadway from debris.
The situations detected by the Fire Brigade and the foresters who are monitoring some damage in Val di Genova, Valle dei Mocheni, Rendena and Rotaliana are different but small.
