Long awaited by those hoping for a sequel worthy of the first, much feared by those who just can’t be optimistic about it, Gladiator 2 is finally taking shape: the film directed by Ridley Scott has finally shown itself to us in these hours thanks to some first official photos, and we can’t help but be intrigued.
After being won over by the cover of Russell Crowe’s Sarà perchè ti Amo at the Colosseum, here we are ready to dive back into Ancient Rome thanks to these images that finally give us a preview of what we will see in the sequel to the much-loved blockbuster, with particular attention to Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal.
The two protagonists are in fact shown to us during a fight, with Mescal in the guise of a gladiator (with a nod to an iconic gesture by his predecessor Russell Crowe) and the star of The Last of Us in that of a Roman general.deeply regretful of his life and doesn’t know where to go” according to director Ridley Scott.
Of course, there is also space for the other stars of the cast, including Denzel Washington e Connie Nielsen, the latter returning in the role of Lucilla: not yet enough to be sure of the quality of the film, but certainly to arouse the right curiosity!
