The hits continue with Cecchetti and Eguchi’s 5-0, which becomes 6-0 due to Slaba’s single that sends Bigatton home. Before the third elimination, Cecchetti’s 7th point also arrives. With two out, but Princic in third, Lacatena comes in to bat for Cacciamani, but things, if possible, get worse for Italposa: in fact, the 8-0 comes with Cecchetti’s single, then in the fourth a 2-run home run Torre’s points ends the semi-final early.
