BUSTO ARSIZIO – Doors open to the Manara swimming pool: the summer lido starts again thanks to the new manager Aquamore. With a cleaned and renovated system and with the external part refurbished thanks to the extraordinary maintenance works created by the Municipality and by the manager himself. «The important message was to reopen on June 22ndrespecting the date with which we had committed ourselves together with the new Aquamore dealer” the words of Maurizio Artusa, the sports councilor which this morning, June 22nd, was at the “Lido di Busto” together with the mayor Emanuele Antonelli to check the work done.

The turning point you can already see it from the small details: the renovated reception, the repainted corridor, the new signs outside every room. And the external part, which was in a state of abandonment, was totally cleaned and rearranged, from the tiles to the cut grass. The actual “lido” has a new face, thanks to the umbrellas and sunbeds purchased with the money allocated by the Municipality, and to the reopened bar. He was there to open the doors of the facility in via Manara the director of Aquamore Matteo Melzi: «We are happy to have kept the commitment made with the administration and with the citizens and we have also been kissed by the sun. Now we aim to make ourselves known to launch the winter season in the best possible way starting in September. From Monday we will be focused on that objective.”
Councilor Artusa: «Let’s start again»
«We thank Aquamore for believing in this challenge, but also citizenship for having endured the hardships of the last year, and let’s start again” says sports councilor Maurizio Artusa. «A lot of work has been done to guarantee a quality space with unchanged prices compared to the past, and I quote in particular the rates displayed together with the regulation already at the reception, for clarity and transparency towards users. There is still a lot to do on the internal part, but we are waiting for the green light from the Court.” The 200 thousand euros of maintenance work on the tanks and internal spaces are in fact on standby awaiting the preventive technical assessment requested by the old manager Forus who contested the costs charged by the Municipality for the work not carried out. But the process should not jeopardize Aquamore’s goal of reopening the internal tanks in September.
