Sanremo. The Sanremo Festival 2025 will be staged from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 February 2025. The confirmation arrived this morning and now we are just waiting for the official announcement from Rai. Carlo Conti he will be the artistic director and host of the 75th edition of the most important singing event in Italy. The decision was taken unanimously by the management of Viale Mazzini, with the CEO Roberto Sergio, the general manager Giampaolo Rossi and the Prime Time Entertainment director Marcello Ciannamea. For the next two years, Conti will lead the national multimedia event organized by Rai and the Municipality of Sanremo.
For the showman it is not a simple return, but a new challenge with the aim of promoting and enhancing new musical trends, as he did in his three successful editions from 2015 to 2017, which saw the launch of artists who are now protagonists of the scene Italian music. It is thanks to the great public and audience success initiated by the Conti era that the Festival has continued to break record after record, passing through the two editions hosted by Claudio Baglioni and the 5 registered ones Amadeus.
The scenography of the 2025 Festival will be designed Riccardo Bocchini, Conti’s historic collaborator who had already edited the latest editions conducted by the Florentine professional. Bocchini inherits the legacy left by the master Gaetano Castelli and his daughter Maria Chiarawhose architecture and play of light have enchanted viewers from all over the world.
