Eleven. There are many robberies that have ended up in the hands of the Carabinieri of the Sabbio Chiese station, assisted in their activity by colleagues from the Operations Unit and Radiomobile. The protagonist, a 19-year-old boy who from December 2023 to March 2024 has – literally – terrorized dozens of students and commuters who reach the city from Valsabbia for school or work.
Yesterday, Friday 21 June, the young resident of Casto ended up in prison, resulting in a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Brescia. The young man «has demonstrated through his conduct that he adopts a lifestyle marked by the abuse of the weakest people and the serial commission of predatory acts with violence and threats», wrote the investigating judge Giulia Costantino in the precautionary custody order reported by the newspaper Bresciaoggi.
The investigation revealed that the young man was already banned from entering the city in September 2023, a ban that was never respected. «Shut up and don’t say anything to anyone because otherwise I’ll come looking for you and kill you»: this is the threat made by the 19-year-old to one of his very young victims, forced under the threat of a knife to give up the 25 euros he had in his pocket. In some episodes the robber made use of the help of an accomplice, who was under investigation at large.
